 Sports Funding

At Albert Village Primary school we aim to develop health and emotional well being for every child by promoting the benefits of exercise and healthy living through offering a varied and engaging curriculum and breakfast, lunchtime and after school activities.

The Government has providing funding of £150 million per annnum for 2013-/14 and 2014/15 with the hope for extending until 2020 to provide new, substantial primary school funding. This funding is being jointly provided by the Departments for Education. Health and Culture, Media and Sport, and will see money going directly to Primary School Head teachers to spend on improving the quality of sport and P.E for all their children.

To ensure the greatest outcomes for pupils in PE and school sport we have utilised our funding to maximum effect.
