Welcome to Blue John!

Blue John class teacher this year is Mr Stratton.  He's also our Deputy Headteacher at Albert Village School, assisting Mrs Lott as well as teaching year 5.  There's a busy year ahead when your child starts in Blue John.  The curriculum is packed with content that will be challenging and fun.  It could be Rockets or Structures in Design Technology; Lifecycles or Forces in Science; Population in Geography for example, along with Art, History, Music etc.  Of course, we will continue the progress made in year 4 with Maths & Reading.  Year 5 starts the last 2 years your child will be at primary school, so we will begin to introduce your children to the idea of secondary school too.  We join with other Rise Schools at a debating event, where some of the class will be able to show their skill at persuasive argument!

Blue John Class start school daily at 8.45am prompt and home time is 3.15pm.
