Albert Village Primary School Celebrates Positive Ofsted Report
Albert Village Primary School, part of the Rise Multi-Academy Trust, has proudly maintained its high standards, as confirmed by a recent Ofsted inspection conducted on 12th and 13th November 2024. The report highlights the school’s commitment to providing a high-quality education in line with its values of Integrity, Kindness, and Excellence.
The inspection praised the school’s well-refined curriculum, which ensures pupils develop a clear progression of knowledge and skills across all subjects. Subjects like history and mathematics were singled out for their positive impact on pupils’ learning outcomes, with students demonstrating enthusiasm and confidence in their work. The school’s early years provision was also recognised for establishing a solid foundation for future learning.
Pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) benefit from tailored support, enabling them to access the curriculum and achieve their personal goals. The school’s inclusive approach ensures that all pupils feel valued and fully involved in the life of the school.
The inspectors commended pupils’ behaviour and attendance, noting the school’s high expectations and robust support systems. Educational visits, workshops, and leadership roles help pupils grow in confidence and independence.
Headteacher Cheryl Lott expressed her delight at the outcome of the inspection, stating, “It is a wonderful reflection of Albert Village and I am exceptionally proud of the whole school community.”
The report also noted the strong support provided by Rise Multi-Academy Trust, which contributes to areas such as curriculum development and provision for SEND pupils. Staff praised the trust for its extensive training opportunities and focus on well-being, which help maintain a motivated and dedicated team.
Interim CEO of the trust, Dave Ellison-Lee, said, “We are all very pleased that the inspection outcome highlighted the positive work we know the school does for all it’s pupils and wider community”
While the school continues to build on its success, Ofsted identified a need to embed recent curriculum revisions in certain subjects to ensure consistent impact. However, inspectors expressed confidence in the school’s ability to sustain its improvements.
